A recipe will not generate
Check that you are on a supported YouTube video and that its title or description identifies a food or drink. ChefScribe uses this metadata and your preferences to create a new recipe; it does not read the ingredients or steps shown in the video. Refresh the page and try again if the request fails.
Ingredients, translation or nutrition look wrong
Generated ingredients, method, timings and nutrition are AI suggestions and may be inaccurate. ChefScribe does not verify them against the video. Review and edit the recipe before cooking; check product labels and reliable food-safety information where relevant. Nutrition is an estimate.
Recipes or Pro access are missing
Check that you used the same account and sign-in provider as before. Apple private relay addresses can look different from your usual email. Reopen the app and use Restore Purchases if offered for an Apple purchase. Contact support if the problem remains.
A recipe-creation limit is shown
Free includes 12 recipe creations per month. Pro includes 100 recipe creations per month. Check the reset information in your account. Pro does not provide unlimited recipe creations.
A shared link does not open
Copy the share link again and check whether the recipe is available publicly. A private, removed or unavailable recipe may not be accessible to someone else. Send support the affected URL if the link should work.
Using ChefScribe on a phone
