Title: How to Install the ChefScribe Extension
Getting started with ChefScribe is quick and easy.
1. Install the Extension
- Open the Chrome Web Store
- Search for “ChefScribe”
- Click Add to Chrome
That’s it — it’s installed!
2. Pin It (Optional but helpful)
- Click the puzzle-piece icon at the top of Chrome
- Find ChefScribe
- Click the pin icon
Now it’s always easy to reach.
3. How to Use It on YouTube
- Open any cooking video
- Click the ChefScribe button
- The side panel will open
- Tap “Extract Recipe”
- Your tidy written recipe appears instantly
4. Saving Recipes
If you’re logged in:
- Click Save Recipe
- It goes into your personal recipe list
- You can return anytime through your dashboard
5. Cooking Features
Every recipe includes:
- Tick-off mode (cross out ingredients as you cook)
- Nutrition slider (adjust servings + ingredient amounts)
- Print-friendly layout
- Share link button
